STEP BY STEP
Being 100% sustainable is a real challenge. The definitions of sustainability are unique to each person and cover both the protection of our oceans and the defense of working conditions.
Being 100% sustainable would imply total commitment at all levels of the production chain. We still have a lot to learn in order to achieve this goal.
We are moving forward step by step. What we can do today, we do. We are committed to never stopping questioning ourselves, innovating and developing new solutions for more responsible fashion.
WE FAVORITE NATURAL MATERIALS
Aware that a major part of the fashion industry's ecological footprint comes from the choice of textile fibers, we have decided to favor natural materials and/or those with a low impact on our environment.
Fashion brands and major fast fashion players have too often favored synthetic materials generated from petroleum such as polyester, nylon or acrylic.
We are betting to do without these materials. By eliminating them, we offer you more respectful, natural, biodegradable and recyclable fashion.
WE USE WHAT EXISTS
80% of our editions are made from fabrics from dormant stocks of major fashion houses or European textile manufacturers.
We unearth the most beautiful fabrics in their warehouses and give them a new life with you.
By working in this way, we design our collections from the material and not from the design, as is usually the case in fashion.
WE PRODUCE LIMITED QUANTITIES
Since we mainly work with fabrics from dormant stocks and therefore only available in limited quantities, all our editions are developed in limited quantities.
A way of moving away from mass consumption but also from guarantee you unique pieces made with love.
WE APPLY A FAIR PRICE
By doing without intermediaries for the sale of our collections and by being in direct contact with you through our website, our Brussels boutique and our pop-up stores throughout the year, we can move away from the margins usually practiced in ready-to-wear and offer you our pieces at a price that seems fair to us.
Just for you, for our partners and for us.
In short, everyone wins.
WE VALUE THE LOCAL
We select all our partners near us, in Europe. In order to visit them (very) often, to establish a real relationship of trust and to ensure that their work always corresponds to our values.
All our pieces are produced in Portugal in a family workshop which we trusted from the start and with whom we formed a real partnership.
Our materials mainly come from Italy, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom.
Our buttons are produced in France or Portugal.
All of our packaging (recycled) is produced in Belgium.
WE DESIGN OUR PARTS TO LAST
Convinced that simplicity is the greatest form of elegance, we want to give you access to a wardrobe of "good basics".
We favor quality materials that will last and timeless cuts.
In addition to our limited editions, we offer our iconic pieces in white, navy blue and black all year round.
We want to create pieces that will be worn for a long time and which we will constantly reinvent. What joy for us to see that our customers, of all ages, appropriate our basics with such style and elegance.
WE HAVE AN EYE FOR DETAIL
We select all our accessories (bias, buttons, linings, threads, etc.) with the greatest care.
We favor recycled and/or biodegradable buttons and try, at this level too, to guarantee our "0% polyester" commitment.
We opt for organic cotton or recycled cupro to make our bias bindings and most of our linings.
