AM I REQUIRED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Yes, customer accounts are personal and allow us to better follow up on your orders / returns / requests.
Creating an account only takes a few seconds and will also allow you to benefit from the little attentions that we reserve for our most loyal customers.

HOW TO CREATE A MARDI ACCOUNT?

Nothing could be simpler. Go to the "Account" space at the top right of the home page of our e-shop (if you are on your smartphone, this button is in the drop-down menu), then click on "Create an account". Enter your email address and fill in the requested information.
Your account is personal and we do not share your data. On your "Account" space you will find all the information relating to your orders.
By creating an account you will also have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. If despite this information, you encounter difficulties, we invite you to contact us by e-mail: shop@mardi-editions.com.

HOW TO LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT?

PLACE ORDER

ARE MY ITEMS RESERVED IN MY BASKET?

The items in your basket are not reserved. Indeed, many of us create baskets that we do not finalize… Since we work with limited quantities, it is not possible for us to reserve items for all our customers!

I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER, HOW DO I KNOW IF IT IS CONFIRMED?

You will receive a confirmation email with an order reference number and a summary of the order.
As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive a new email with a parcel tracking number. Remember to check your spam.
If you can't find it, we invite you to check on the "Account" page, if it is there, it has been validated!
If in doubt, do not hesitate to send an e-mail to shop@mardi-editions.com.

HOW TO MODIFY/CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can add or remove items from your basket at any time before your order is confirmed. Once your order has been validated, it is not possible to add, delete or modify items placed in your basket. If your order has not yet been dispatched and you wish to change the size or colour of an item or your delivery address, contact us within 4 hours after validation of your order by e-mail at shop@mardi-editions.com indicating the reference of your order and the modifications to be made. If unfortunately, the modification is not possible, we invite you to return the item and place a new order. You will have 14 days after receipt of the package to return your items and request a refund. The cancellation of an order implies the immediate refund of the total amount thereof.

HOW DO REASSORTS AND RETURNS IN STOCK WORK?

At Mardi, quantities are limited. We believe in a  slower and more responsible fashion. Most of the fabrics we use come from overstocks from major fashion houses or textile manufacturers.
We purchase these fabrics in batches and depend on the existing quantity. It is therefore very rare that our pieces are restocked.
However, we keep our favourite models from one edition to another and you will certainly find the model you are looking for in a new material/colour in a future edition. We invite you to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram to make sure you don't miss anything. Note that it is possible that the piece of your dreams will come back in stock because another customer has returned it to us.
We also advise you to register to be notified of the return in stock of a product directly from the page of this product.

THE ITEM IS SOLD-OUT ONLINE, IS IT AVAILABLE IN STORE?

Our online stock is the same as the stock in store, if the piece of your dreams is sold-out online, it is also in the store.
Note that it is possible that the latter will come back in stock because another customer has returned it to us.
We also advise you to register to be notified of the return in stock of a product directly from the page of this product.

In Belgium, delivery is free on all orders over €200. It is also possible to collect your order free of charge from our store in Brussels (Rue du page 15, 1050 Ixelles). Standard delivery is guaranteed in 2 to 3 working days in Belgium (excluding the Archive period).
If you want to receive your order faster (1 working day), it is possible to select express delivery to your home.

Here are the different options:
- Pick up in store (Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.)
- Standard delivery: €7, free from €200 of purchase
- Relay point delivery (Bpost): €5,  free from €200 of purchase
- Express delivery (24 working hours): 15€

Once your order has been sent, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to the tracking page of the selected carrier. If in doubt, write to us at shop@mardi-editions.com, we are here to help you.

MY PACKAGE IS LOST...

Delivery means the transfer to the customer of the physical possession of the item(s) of the order. The risk of loss or deterioration of the article(s) is transferred to the customer at the time of delivery. If the delivery time is exceeded, i.e. 7 working days, you can contact shop@mardi-editions.com to file a complaint. A solution will be found jointly.

HOW CAN I COLLECT MY PACKAGE IF IT HAS BEEN RETURNED?

Unfortunately, once your package has been returned to us, it cannot be reshipped to you. You will be automatically refunded within 7 working days. To collect your order, simply place a new order via our online store.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM ?

We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the order provided that the returned parts are unworn (with the label) and carefully packed in their original packaging. If you are returning your entire order to us, please put the tote bag or other accessories included in the package before returning it to us.
Any item returned incomplete (product label, buttons, etc.), damaged, washed or stained will not be taken back and/or refunded.
Reimbursement will take place within a maximum period of 15 days after deposit of the package at a relay point.

RETURNS FROM BELGIUM

In Brussels, it is possible to return your order or part of it free of charge by dropping it off at our shop (Rue du page 15, 1050 Ixelles) from Tuesday to Saturday between 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. The refund will be made via the payment method used to validate your online order and the money will arrive in your bank account within 7 working days.

HOW CAN I FOLLOW THE PROGRESSION OF MY RETURN PACKAGE?

Once your return request has been submitted, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page.

WHAT ARE THE REIMBURSEMENT DELAYS?

Your return will be processed within 24 hours of receipt. The refund is made to the bank account of the card used to pay for the order.
The processing of your return will be confirmed to you by e-mail. From this confirmation message, the refund will be effective within 7 working days.

HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

We do not offer an exchange service on our mardi-editions.com site. To order a new size, a new style or a new colour of the item you have chosen, simply return the items for which you will be reimbursed and place a new order via our online store.

Are you in Brussels? It is possible to make an exchange by going to the Mardi shop in Brussels (15 Rue du Page, 1050 Ixelles).

HOW ARE THE RETURNS OF AN ORDER PLACED WITH A GIFT CARD?

If you paid for your order using a gift card, a new gift card will be sent to you following the validation of your return by our team. This new gift card will be usable on our e-shop and in our shop thanks to a code.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED IN ARCHIVE/OUTLET?

Returns of sale items are the responsibility of the customer with the shipping method of his choice and at his expense. Mardi editions clears itself of all responsibility in the event of loss of parcels by the carrier.
However, if the customer lives in Belgium and still wishes to make the return via the site's platform, additional return costs of €5 will be deducted when the order is refunded, regardless of the initial amount of the order. .

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED DURING THE BRADERY?

HOW DO COLLECTIONS WORK?

Mardi offers a new way of seeing fashion. Mardi departs from the classic model favoured by the majority of fashion brands. Exit seasons, hello editions.
Each edition is actually a "mini collection" of timeless pieces offered in limited editions. Each article is imagined by Marie, the designer, each being the result of meticulous research of the most beautiful fabrics and the perfect cut, down to the smallest details.

WHAT IS MARDI'S PHILOSOPHY?

We are convinced that simplicity is the greatest elegance. We favour quality materials and timeless cuts and develop limited-edition capsules that are modern, feminine and soberly coloured.

ARE THERE SALES AT MARDI?

Mardi does not do sales. We promote a sustainable way of consuming fashion. We design timeless pieces that are made to be worn and loved for years. We think our pieces don't go out of fashion after one season and we love showing you how to mix them up with our new arrivals.
However, every 4 to 6 months, when we order our next collection, we bet on the quantities that are going to be sold. We make this bet based on our own favourites and the amount of fabric available to make the clothes. Sometimes we are too careful, sometimes not enough and sometimes our favourites are not yours.
So, twice a year, to make room on our shelves and please you, we offer a percentage on a small number of pieces from our past collections (but never on our current collections).

WHAT ARE THE 10 PRINCIPLES BEHIND MARDI?

1. NO TO PLASTIC
Life in plastic….not fantastic! We've banned polyester from 99% of everything we do.

2. TIMELESS
The best clothes are made to last. We design our pieces to be worn and reinvented over time.

3. LOCAL
We strongly support European craftsmanship. Our collections are designed in Belgium and made in Portugal from materials that we buy in Europe.

4. ZERO-WASTE
We recycle all materials used in our production process. We recover the leftovers and transform them into scrunchies, bobs, key rings...

5. LIMITED
We manufacture in small quantities to reduce waste and make our production more exclusive, but also to respect the materials with which we work.

6. CIRCULAR
We make our garments from dormant stock fabrics that we source from other brands and fabric suppliers. When this is not possible, we source only natural and low environmental impact fabrics.

7. ETHICAL
Throughout our supply chain, we work hand in hand with great partners who share our values ​​and commitments. We visit them often and continually push them towards more transparency.

8. BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN
We are founded by women, run by women and we make clothes to support women in their daily lives.

RESPONSIBILITY

WHERE IS THE PRODUCTION MADE?

All of the brand's partners have been selected locally, in Europe. In order to visit them (very) often, to establish a real relationship of trust and to ensure that their work always corresponds to the values ​​of Mardi.
Our pieces are made in a family workshop located in the Porto region of Portugal. Our proximity to our clothing workshop allows us to closely monitor our production and ensure that the working conditions within the workshop meet our expectations (and yours).
The materials come from Italy, the Netherlands, France or Spain, the buttons are produced in France and the packaging (100% recycled) in Belgium.

HOW ARE THE MATERIALS CHOSEN?

Aware that a major part of the ecological footprint of the fashion industry comes from the choice of textile fibres, Marie selects only materials of natural origin and/or with a low impact on the environment.
Fashion brands have too often favored synthetic materials generated from petroleum such as polyester, nylon or acrylic. Mardi takes the gamble of doing without these fibres.
By eliminating them, Mardi offers a more respectful, biodegradable and recyclable fashion.
We source the materials from which we compose our editions across Europe. We mainly work with Italian, Dutch, French and English textile manufacturers.
Most of the materials used come from the 'dormant stocks' of textile manufacturers and major fashion houses, we like the idea of ​​giving them a new life with you.

HOW ARE PRICES SET AT MARDI?

Since day one, we have applied a fair price on all our clothes.
By cutting out the middleman for the sale of our collections and by being in direct contact with our customers via our website and our shop, we can reduce our margins and offer our pieces at the price that seems fairest to us. A price that reflects both the quality of the selected materials and the work of the craftsmen with whom we collaborate.
Our usual margin is around 50% while usual margins in the fashion industry are around 80%. As we do not inflate our prices all year round, we do not have the possibility of applying large and excessive discounts.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE YOUR PACKAGING MORE SUSTAINABLE?

We use FSC kraft sleeves for delivery. These are fully reusable and recyclable. Using kraft sleeves instead of cardboard boxes allows us to reduce our carbon footprint. First of all, their production requires less material, energy and waste than cardboard boxes. Second, kraft pouches have a lower volume and more of them can be transported at the same time, which significantly reduces transport, fuel and emissions.

HOW CAN OUR CLOTHES LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?

Our top priority is to provide our customers with the highest quality items. All our pieces are made from 100% natural materials.
These materials, which are gentle on your skin and your environment, are, unfortunately, more difficult to maintain than synthetic materials.
However, if you give them all your love, they will give it back to you for years.
