Yes, customer accounts are personal and allow us to better monitor your orders / returns / requests.

HOW TO CREATE A mardi ACCOUNT?

Nothing could be simpler, go to the “Account” area at the top right of the home page of our e-shop (if you are on your smartphone, this button is in the drop-down menu) , then click “Create an account”. Enter your email address and fill in the requested information.
Your account is personal and we do not share your data. In your “Account” area you will find all the information relating to your orders.

PLACE ORDER

ARE MY ITEMS RESERVED IN MY BASKET?

The items in your basket are not reserved. Indeed, many of us create baskets that we do not finalize... Given that we work with limited quantities, it is not possible for us to reserve pieces for all our customers!

I PLACED AN ORDER, HOW DO I KNOW IF IT IS CONFIRMED?

You will receive a confirmation email with an order reference number, as well as a summary of the order.
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a new email with an order reference number. package tracking. Remember to check your spam.
If you cannot find it, we invite you to check on the “Account” page, if it is there, it is validated!

HOW TO MODIFY/CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can add or remove items from your shopping cart at any time before your order is confirmed. Once your order has been validated, it is not possible to add, delete or modify items placed in your basket. If your order has not yet been shipped and you wish to change the size or color of an item or your delivery address, contact us within 4 hours of confirming your order by email to shop@ mardi-editions.com by telling us the reference of your order and the modifications to be made. If unfortunately modification is not possible, we invite you to return the item and place a new order. You will have 14 days after receipt of the package to return your items and request a refund. Canceling an order involves immediate reimbursement of the total amount.

HOW DO RE-STOCKS AND RETURNS WORK?

At mardi, quantities are limited. We believe in softer, slower and more responsible fashion. The majority of the fabrics we use come from overstocks from major fashion houses or textile manufacturers.
We purchase these fabrics in batches and depend on the existing quantity. It is therefore very rare that our pieces are re-stocked.
However, we keep our favorite models from one edition to another and you will certainly find the model you are looking for in a new material/color during a next edition. We invite you to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram to make sure you don't miss anything. Note that it is possible that the part of your dreams comes back in stock because another customer returned it to us. We update our stocks every mardis.
We also advise you to register to be notified when a product is back in stock directly from the page for that product.

THE ITEM IS SOLD OUT ONLINE, IS IT AVAILABLE IN STORE?

Our online stock is the same as the stock in store, if the piece of your dreams is sold out online, it is also sold out in the store.
Note that it is possible that the latter comes back in stock because another customer returned it to us.
We update our stocks every mardis. We also advise you to register to be notified when a product is back in stock directly from the product page.

HOW DO GIFT CARDS WORK?

It is possible to buy gift cards online. You will receive an email with the code to be used to activate the card. No obligation to spend the entire card at once.

Gift cards purchased online are also usable in our Brussels store (Rue du page 15, 1050 Ixelles) and our pop-up stores.

DELIVERIES IN BELGIUM

In Belgium, delivery is free on all orders from €250 of purchase. It is also possible to collect your order free of charge in our Brussels store (Rue du page 15, 1050 Ixelles). Standard delivery is guaranteed in 2 to 3 working days in Belgium (excluding the Archives period).
If you would like to receive your order more quickly (1 working day), it is possible to select express home delivery.

Here are the different options:
- Collection in store (from mardi to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
- Standard delivery (Bpost to home): €7, free from 250€ purchase
- Relay point delivery (Bpost): €5
- Express delivery (24 working hours): 15€

Currently, we are not able to deliver outside the European Union without avoiding excessive customs fees. We are a young brand and are working to enable worldwide delivery shortly.

MY PACKAGE IS LOST...

Delivery means the transfer to the customer of physical possession of the item(s) of the order. The risk of loss or damage to the item(s) passes to the customer at the time of delivery. If the delivery time, i.e. 7 working days, is exceeded, you can contact shop@mardi-editions.com to lodge a complaint. A solution will be found jointly.

HOW DO I RECOVER MY PACKAGE IF IT HAS BEEN RETURNED?

Unfortunately, once your package has been returned to us, it cannot be reshipped to you. You will be automatically refunded within 7 business days. To collect your order, simply place a new order via our online store.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM ?

We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the order provided that the returned items are unworn (with the label) and carefully packaged in their original packaging. If you return your entire order to us, we thank you for putting the tote bag or other accessories offered in the package before returning it to us.
Any item returned incomplete (product label, buttons, etc.), damaged, damaged, washed or stained will not be taken back and/or refunded.
The refund will take place within a maximum of 15 days after receipt of the package at our offices.

RETURNS FROM BELGIUM

RETURNING A DIRTY ARCHIVED ORDER

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns on Archive Sale items.

HOW DO I TRACK THE PROGRESSION OF MY RETURN PACKAGE?

Once your return request to the site has been submitted, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page.

WHAT ARE THE REIMBURSEMENT DEADLINES?

Your return will be processed within 24 hours of receipt. The refund is made to the bank account of the card used to pay for the order.

HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

We do not offer an exchange service on our site mardi-editions.com. To order a new size, style or color of the item you have chosen, simply return the items for which you will be refunded, and reorder via our online store.

Are you in Brussels? It is possible to make an exchange by going to the mardi store in Brussels (15 Rue du Page, 1050 Ixelles).

HOW ARE RETURNS ON AN ORDER PLACED WITH A GIFT CARD?

If you paid for your order using a gift card, a new gift card will be sent to you following validation of your return by our team. This new gift card can be used on our e-shop and in our store using a code.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED IN ARCHIVE/OUTLET?

Returns of sale items are the responsibility of the customer using the shipping method of their choice and at their expense. mardi editions disclaims all liability in the event of loss of package by the carrier.
However, if the customer resides in Belgium and still wishes to make the return via the site's platform, an additional return fee of 5 € will be deducted when the order is refunded, regardless of the initial amount of the order.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED DURING THE SALE SALE?

HOW DO COLLECTIONS WORK?

mardi offers a new way of seeing fashion. mardi departs from the classic model favored by the majority of fashion brands. Exit the seasons, make way for editions.
Each edition is in reality a “mini collection” of timeless pieces offered in limited editions. Each item is imagined by Marie, the designer, each being the result of meticulous research for the most beautiful fabrics and the perfect cut, down to the smallest details.

WHAT IS THE PHILOSOPHY OF mardi?

We are convinced that simplicity is the greatest elegance. We favor quality materials and timeless cuts and develop limited edition capsules that are modern, feminine and soberly colored.

ARE THERE SALES AT mardi?

mardi does not have sales. We promote a sustainable way of consuming fashion. We design timeless pieces that are made to be worn and loved for years. We believe that our pieces are not out of fashion after one season and we like to show you how to mix them with our new arrivals.
However, every 4 to 6 months, when we order our next collection, we bet on the quantities that will be sold. We make this bet based on our own favorites and the quantity of fabric available to make the clothes. Sometimes we are too careful, sometimes not enough and sometimes our favorites are not yours.
So, twice a year, to make room on our shelves and to please you, we offer a percentage on a small quantity of pieces from our past collections (but never from our current collections).

WHAT ARE THE 10 PRINCIPLES BEHIND mardi?

1. NO TO PLASTIC
Life in plastic….not fantastic! We've banned polyester from 99% of everything we do.

2. TIMELESS
The best clothes are made to last. We design our pieces to be worn and reinvented over time.

3. LOCAL
We strongly support European craftsmanship. Our collections are designed in Belgium and made in Portugal from materials that we purchase in Europe.

4. ZERO-WASTE
We recycle all materials used in our production process. We collect the leftovers and transform them into scrunchies, bucket hats, key rings...

5. LIMITED
We manufacture in small quantities to reduce waste and make our production more exclusive, but also to respect the materials with which we work.

6. CIRCULAR
We make our clothing from dormant stock fabrics that we source from other brands and fabric suppliers. When this is not possible, we source strictly natural and low environmental impact fabrics.

7. ETHICS
Throughout our supply chain, we work hand in hand with fantastic partners who share our values ​​and commitments. We visit them often and continually push them towards more transparency.

RESPONSIBILITY

WHERE IS PRODUCTION MADE?

All the brand's partners have been selected locally, in Europe. In order to visit them (very) often, to establish a real relationship of trust and to ensure that their work always corresponds to the values ​​of mardi.
Our pieces are made in a family workshop located in the region from Porto to Portugal. Our proximity to our manufacturing workshop allows us to closely monitor our production and ensure that the working conditions within the workshop meet our expectations (and yours).
The materials come from Italy, from the Netherlands, France or Spain, the buttons are produced in France and the packaging (100% recycled) in Belgium.

HOW ARE THE MATERIALS CHOSEN?

Aware that a major part of the fashion industry's ecological footprint comes from the choice of textile fibers, Marie only selects materials of natural origin and/or with a low impact on the environment.

t1>Fashion brands have too often favored synthetic materials generated from petroleum such as polyester, nylon or acrylic. mardi is betting on moving on from these fibers.
By eliminating them, mardi offers a more respectful, biodegradable and recyclable fashion.
We unearth the materials from which we compose our editions through 'Europe. We mainly work with Italian, Dutch, French and English textile manufacturers.
The majority of the materials used come from the 'dormant stocks' of textile manufacturers and major fashion houses, we like the idea of ​​giving them a new life with you.

HOW ARE PRICES SET AT mardi?

Since day one, we have applied a fair price to all our clothes.
By doing without intermediaries for the sale of our collections and by being in direct contact with our customers via our website and our store, we can reduce our margins and offer our parts at the price that seems fairest to us. A price which reflects both the quality of the materials selected and the work of the artisans with whom we collaborate.
Our usual margin is around 50% while the usual margins in the fashion industry are around 80%. As we do not inflate our prices all year round, we do not have the ability to apply significant and excessive discounts.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE YOUR PACKAGING MORE SUSTAINABLE?

We use FSC kraft pouches for delivery. These are completely reusable and recyclable. Using kraft pouches instead of cardboard boxes allows us to reduce our carbon footprint. First of all, their production requires less materials, energy and waste than cardboard boxes. Then, kraft pouches have a lower volume and more of them can be transported at the same time, which significantly reduces transportation, fuel and emissions.

HOW DO WE MAKE OUR CLOTHES LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?

Our top priority is to provide our customers with the highest quality items. All our pieces are made from 100% natural materials.
These materials, gentle on your skin and your environment, are, unfortunately, more delicate to maintain than synthetic materials.
However, if you give them everything your love, they will return it to you for years.
